Corporate Sponsors Line Up for Raleigh Metro Magazine's First Annual MetroBravo! Party

Cary, NC, September 01, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Fourteen corporate sponsors have signed on so far for Metro Magazine’s First Annual MetroBravo! Party to be held Thursday, September 27, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary.

These corporate sponsors include: Time Warner Cable, Cool Cups & Stuff in Rocky Mount, The Franklin Hotel in Chapel Hill, Raleigh-based business consulting firm CD Anderson, Johnson Lexus, Great Southern Mortgage, real estate brokers York Simpson Underwood, real estate developers CB Richard Ellis and York Properties, Carolina Silver Company of Raleigh, Frameworks of Raleigh, Belk stores, Hospice of Wake County, and the Raleigh-based law firm Manning Fulton & Skinner.

Each spring, Raleigh-based Metro Magazine asks its readers to select the best products, stores, services and people from a large selection of categories. The winners are published in Metro’s July and August editions. (Go to www.metronc.com for the list of 2007 winners).

Now, after eight years of presenting the popular “best of” MetroBravo! Awards, the magazine is bringing together a selection of this year’s award recipients and their fans – and everyone who wants to meet and mingle with the winners – during the MetroBravo! Party.

For the price of admission, guests will receive access to exhibition booths for free samples of food, beverages, services and special gifts. Music will be provided by 2007 MetroBravo! winners The Dune Dogs and The Proclivities, plus legendary rock group Arrogance. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the United Arts Foundation of Raleigh and Wake County (www.unitedarts.org).

The corporate sponsors, who are helping to make the party one of the best social events of the season, will receive an eight-seat table at the event with signage and catering provided by MetroBravo! Award-winning chefs, a listing on the magazine’s website (www.metronc..com), a four-color ad in Metro’s September party-guide edition, and 10 tickets to the party.

General admission tickets to the event are $35. VIP tickets are $75. They can be purchased through Ticketmaster and Metro Magazine. More corporate tables, with catering by the area's top chefs, are also available. (Call Katie Poole at 919-831-0999 for reservations and additional sponsorship opportunities.)

Metro Magazine, established in 1999, is a 40,000 circulation monthly, four-color city/regional publication serving Raleigh, the Research Triangle and Eastern North Carolina.
