Triumph Foundation is celebrating its five-year anniversary by hosting the Let’em Roll Casino Night at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Valencia, California Aug 17th.

Valencia, CA, July 27, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Triumph Foundation’s http://www.Triumph-Foundation.org annual fundraising event will feature: Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament, Craps, Blackjack and Roulette. It will also include: prime rib dinner, music, and silent auction. Needless to say, this is not a typical gala type event. It's inspirational, impactful, powerful, and something that will change perceptions and transform lives.

Triumph Foundation would like to thank the following significant event sponsors: Greene Broillet & Wheeler LLP, Tejon Ranch, Centennial Founders, and Chudcoff Simon Friedman LLP. The event would not be possible without your support and partnerships.

Triumph Foundation’s founder, Andrew Skinner suffered a Spinal Cord Injury in 2004 in a snowboarding accident outside his family’s cabin in Lake Arrowhead. Andrew broke several vertebrae in his neck, paralyzing all four of his limbs and rendering him a quadriplegic. After years of extensive physical therapy, Andrew regained some function and felt destined for a mission: to help others who suffered injuries like him. In 2008, he and his wife Kirsten founded Triumph Foundation with a simple desire: to bring hope, resources, and mentorship to people who are dealing with paralysis. “When someone becomes paralyzed, their injury affects everyone around them; family, friends, loved ones, and the entire community,” said Kirsten Skinner, who was with Andrew when he got injured and has stayed with him every step of the way.

Triumph Foundation’s programs serving the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) community includes giving people who are newly paralyzed Care Baskets which are filled with information and resources; providing grants to people who have inadequate medical insurance to obtain necessary equipment, supplies, and services; assisting with home modifications for wheelchair accessibility; leading SCI support groups; sponsoring wheelchair sports teams and adaptive recreational programs to support disabled athletes.

To date, the organization has touched the lives of over 1,500 individuals with disabilities; given over $20,000 in grants; performed numerous home and bathroom accessibility remodels; provided several wheelchair accessible vehicles to people. Members have handed out well over 500 Care Baskets to newly injured while continuously visiting fifteen area hospitals and rehabilitation centers throughout the Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties ensuring the newly injured and any disabled person knows we are there to help them.

Tickets cost $100.00 per person and can be purchased at http://www.Triumph-Foundation.org/donate.cfm or by calling 661-803-3700. The event will begin at 6:00 pm at Hyatt Regency Valencia located at 24500 Town Center Dr. Ca. 91355

All donations raised at Casino Night goes directly towards helping individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries to triumph over their disability and to inspire them to keep moving forward with their lives by pushing themselves to get better every day.
