J.P. Turner Employees Provide Backpacks and School Supplies to Atlanta Children in Need

J.P. Turner employees raised enough money to donate book bags and school supplies to nearly half of the children served by HOPE Atlanta.

Atlanta, GA, July 31, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Employee donations allowed the firm to purchase 47 back packs filled with supplies including crayons, paper, pencils, pens, markers, scissors, calculators, graphing paper, protractors and folders for the children of Hope Atlanta. Erika Parks, Director of Permanent Supportive Housing, of HOPE Atlanta was presented with the bags on Wednesday, July 24.

“The generosity of J.P. Turner’s leadership and employees never ceases to amaze me,” commented Heidi Wheatley, Director of Marketing. “We had a short period of time to raise money and they came through in a big way. Presenting the book bags and supplies to Erika in front of our home office team was an incredibly proud moment.”
