Grand Oaks of Jensen Project Underway

Assisted Living facility coming to Jensen Beach.

Jensen Beach, FL, August 07, 2013 --( Construction has commenced on the Grand Oaks of Jensen assisted living facility. The Douglas Company of Orlando, Florida, is general contractor for the project and has put in place a high performance construction schedule with an anticipated completion date of June 30, 2014.

Grand Oaks of Jensen, located at the corner of Jensen Beach Boulevard and Green River Parkway, is the second assisted living facility for the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Florida. After the success of the VNA’s first community, Grand Oaks of Okeechobee, a goal was set to bring the same assisted living environment to the Martin Country area, but on a larger scale.

The 62-suite, Key West inspired facility features a warm, comfortable and secure atmosphere where residents can become part of the VNA family. The 56,790 square foot facility houses beds for 66 residents, a commercial kitchen, dining room, family dining area and country kitchen. Other amenities include a theater, ice cream parlor, activity rooms, porches and courtyards.

First residents are slated to move in to the facility by August 2014 and reservations are currently being accepted. For more information on the VNA and their facilities, please contact Jennifer Crow at or 772.286.1844. Architectural design is being provided by Architectural Concepts, Inc.
