Building an Industry: How Private and Public Partners Can Connect Through Offshore Wind

Snow Hill, MD, August 09, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The business community is cordially invited to join the Business Network for Maryland Offshore Wind seminar titled, “Offshore Wind: Opportunities for the Eastern Shore, Ocean City, and Maryland’s Maritime Industry.” The event sponsors include Worcester County Economic Development (WCED) and Maryland Energy Administration (MEA). The seminar takes place August 16 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Ocean City Marlin Club in West Ocean City.

MEA Director Abby Hopper, the Governor's Chief Energy Advisor, will lead the seminar. There will be plenty of opportunities to learn more about recent offshore wind developments and report on opportunities that will be available to area contractors in the near future.
