The survey is cloud-based and uses a carefully researched algorithm that will score eight key attributes of a sellable business and provide a “Sellability Score”. The survey is then received by Hatteras Group associate Sean Lacy, who will also provide a 26 page report full of charts and graphs that will give insights into these factors and how buyers evaluate a business for sale.
The "Sellability Score" was developed using a quantitative survey of business owners with annual revenue between $50,000 and $100,000,000. Additional research included a quantitative survey of Merger & Acquisition (M&A) professionals along with statistical analysis to create an algorithm that predicts the sellability of a company.
