Gray, TN, September 06, 2007 --(PR.com
)-- Bailey Computing Technologies, Inc. (BCTI), an Eastern Tennessee based provider of IT services, computer training, application development, and networking, announces the hiring of Gina Galetti to its strong and growing staff.
“Gina comes to us with an extensive background in marketing, web design and television production,” said Chase Boles, President of BCTI. “With such diverse experience, we are excited to have her marketing and design skills continue to expand our business.”
For Gina, it all comes down to beauty – not just eye candy, but strategic plans that work on a deeply aesthetic and functional level. In 1996, after graduating from Loras College with a BA in Broadcast Media Communications, Gina started her career as a television producer for a Fox television station in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, working in the promotions and marketing department. “I gained valuable experience while operating the camera and video editing, but what I really enjoyed was the graphical work for on-air productions. I could sit in front of the computer designing graphics for hours on end.” After the Fox team saw the skills Gina had with graphic design, she quickly became the go-to person for the TV station’s on-air look and visual marketing efforts.
As Gina’s love and skill for graphic design progressed, internet users were demanding a more stimulating experience. Animated websites were growing in popularity, as was the need for businesses to have attractive websites. That’s when Gina decided to make the leap from television producer to web designer. Since taking several web classes and extensive research, Gina launched her first website in 1999, and focused her career on marketing and web design.
Over the last ten years, Gina has established herself as an award winning marketer and designer. In 2006, she won three WebAwards from the Web Marketing Association. Gina has learned to be versatile by expanding her knowledge base with different marketing mediums. “With my experience in marketing, web design and television production, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to combine all of those skills in leading the marketing strategies at BCTI.” Gina’s strong desire to stay on top of marketing strategies ensures that she will remain successful for years to come.
After a successful collaboration effort in BCTI’s television advertisement campaign, BCTI has elected Gina to take the leading role in the company’s marketing projects. Always willing to learn, Gina is excited about expanding her skills and talents. “I am thrilled to be a part of BCTI’s marketing strategies, and hope to make BCTI a household name. My goal is for everyone to know exactly who BCTI is – not just as a company that offers cutting edge IT technology, but also a company that is involved in making Eastern Tennessee a better community.”
