Millington, Tennessee Christian Injury Attorney David B. Peel Announces 2013 Recipient of Tricia M. Peel Scholarship Fund

Memphis, TN, August 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Christian personal injury attorney David B. Peel of Millington, Tennessee, is pleased to announce that Lydia Ruth Kearcher of Collierville is this year’s $7,500 recipient of the Tricia M. Peel Scholarship Fund. Mr. Peel created the Tricia M. Peel Scholarship Fund in 2002 with the Bellevue Foundation to honor his wife and others like her who pursue a career in nursing. The initial funding came from significant personal injury cases handled by Mr. Peel.

Lydia will begin attending Union University this fall where she will pursue a bachelor’s degree in Nursing with the intention of cultivating a career in pediatrics. She has been awarded the Dean’s Scholarship by Union University as well as the Hope Scholarship of Tennessee and the Tennessee Scholars recognition. Lydia has competed in the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association (NCFCA) Speech and Debate league at the local, regional and national championship level since 2007. As a summer volunteer with Child Evangelism Fellowship, she has taught lessons and led Bible clubs for children throughout Memphis for the past four years. She has also volunteered in her church nursery and tutored kids from downtown throughout high school. Lydia enjoys playing piano and violin and hopes to continue playing for fun at Union University. Her favorite Bible verse is Matthew 19:26: “Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”

Mr. Peel has been in practice since 1996, and founded the Peel Law Firm in Millington in 2000.
