He earned his B.S. and M.S. in accounting at the University of Kansas at Lawrence. Mr. Harvey has taught accounting and tax courses at the college level and has co-hosted a radio show on taxation and finances. He has served as President of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Metropolitan Chapter. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas Society of CPA's Board of Trustees. Mr. Harvey has several awards to his credit including: Named one of the "Top tax Practitioners" in the nation by Money Magazine; Named an ELP ("Endorsed Local Provider") by the Dave Ramsey Show and named as one of the Five Star Wealth Managers "Best in Client Satisfaction" for 5 years in a row, 2007-11. His credentials as a professional accountant also include Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Accredited Asset Management Specialist (ASSM). His leisure time is spent jogging and participating in family activities.
