Climate Data and Other New Features Make MeteoEarth the Perfect Travel App

Climate data and storm trackers are amongst the new features launched on MeteoEarth for iPad 1.2. The new features, designed for planning travel and watching out for summer thunderstorms, are released in time for the last few weeks of summer.

London, United Kingdom, August 25, 2013 --(PR.com)-- MeteoEarth for iPad 1.2 also introduces new weather elements. Previously on MeteoEarth users could see the forecast precipitation but couldn’t differentiate between the type of precipitation, now MeteoEarth shows the difference between rain and snow. The cloud cover layer has been enhanced with a new lightning feature so that users can track thunderstorms and a new storm feature enables users to track tropical storms taking place around the world with information including category, type and wind speed.

A new function on the app now shows precise information for pinpointed locations on the map, including forecast rainfall, percentage of cloud cover, temperature etc.

MeteoEarth for iPad 1.2 is available to download for iTunes now.
