And on that list, Florida has the largest share at twenty-six percent. From where I sit, that’s impressive.”

Of the top hint for purchasing in Florida Tacher says, “We’ve all heard it but it’s very true...‘Location, location, location.’ There’s just no way around it. Future home buyers must discover what area of Florida most appeals to them out of the 58,000 square miles it encapsulates.” Basically the size of England and Wales combined it’s very safe to say that Florida has something for everyone. Tacher adds, “Make no mistake, Florida has 1,300 miles of coastline with 800 miles of beaches. That translates to some pretty high housing prices along those areas. However, if your so inclined to purchase property in rather close proximity to water, Florida also has about 30,000 lakes to choose from.”

In this edition of the series Tacher describes some of Florida’s top areas in some depth. He starts with Southeast Florida which offers urban living in subtropical climate that attracts a good many people of retirement age to its diverse environment. “Southeast Florida is stunning if only for the fact that it’s where the Gulf of Mexico meets the Everglades.
