Nation Leagues Commemorates End of Summer with Toronto Dodgeball and Softball League Playoffs

Toronto, Canada, August 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Summer may be on its way out, but things are just getting warmed up at Nation Leagues as teams make the transition from the regular season to playoffs throughout the final weeks of August and the beginning of September. The Toronto-based organization's co-ed beach dodgeball and co-ed softball leagues playoffs mark the beginning of the end for teams and players as they prepare to square off and send another successful season on its way.

Although the competition is heating up, Nation Leagues is helping its players stay cool by providing both the beach dodgeball and softball leagues with free ice cream from a truck that goes from game to game. It's a fun, tasty and relaxing way to help keep things light and ring in the end of yet another year of putting either bat or body to ball – depending on which of the Toronto leagues you're a part of – and gave an air of bittersweet celebration as players prepared to say goodbye to both the beach and the field for the season.

The co-ed Toronto dodgeball and softball leagues run by Nation Leagues offer a “fun, safe, competitive and affordable” way for individuals to put together a team and play year over year. Dodgeball runs four nights a week, with three different skill levels (beginner, competitive and all levels) available, and offers a more fun and unconventional way of de-stressing from a long day. The softball league is 3-pitch, and runs of rules that are designed to give all players the opportunity to be part of the game. It gives former, current or casual ball players a chance to join a league that's both fun and competitive and allows them to play with friends or join a team to meet new people.

Another summer has passed us by, but the co-ed beach dodgeball and co-ed softball leagues from League Nations is choosing to stay cool in the leftover heat and treat their players to a summer classic with free ice cream.
