Orland Park, IL, September 08, 2007 --( Midwest Vein Center (MVC) is expanding and has opened a new office in Orland Park, Ill. This vein care practice is committed to the non-surgical treatment of vein disorders.

“My goal is to serve the Orland Park community in the best manner possible, combining the newest technologies with solid scientific data in all aspects of vein care,” said Dr. Barbara Zuniga. “Seeking treatment, whether for medical or cosmetic purposes, can be intimidating in the best of circumstances. That’s why a patient's comfort and satisfaction are of utmost importance to me.”

The Midwest Vein Center is committed to the non-surgical treatment of vein disease and related disorders. With 3 locations near Chicago, MVC is a trusted name when it comes to vein clinics throughout the Midwest. In fact, it is one of just a few vein practices in which all physicians have undergone an extensive fellowship training in phlebology. As a result, MVC has had only 8 recurrences out of the last 1200 endovenous procedures performed (a rate of only 0.75%). Most reports in the medical literature report about a 5% recurrence rate. Experience and use of the latest technology make MVC unique in its approach to vein care.
