Locally Owned Juice Bar Opens with a Brick and Mortar Location and Hits the Road with a Mobile Unit
Albuquerque, NM, September 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Locally owned Squeezed Juice Bar opened in the Paseo Del Norte corridor late in 2012. The juice bar is the first of its kind in Albuquerque serving raw juices and smoothies using no concentrates, no preservatives, no ice creams/sherbets, or added sugars. The owners have already expanded by adding a concession trailer and have started hitting the streets throughout the city and surrounding area.
The owners, Ryan and Vickie Fellows, say they have attended several special events and that the mobile Juice Bar was “very well received”. Now the big yellow mobile juice bar trailer can be spotted in all quadrants of the city juicing such things as kale, spinach, carrots, parsley, apples, lemons, celery and serving a variety of freshly made smoothies.
The brick and mortar location offers a wider selection of menu items as well as a list of ingredients to design your own juices and smoothies. Patrons can also choose from homemade muffins, scones, quinoa, orzo and tabouli salads, yogurt parfaits and quiche.
There are plans to open a couple more Squeezed Juice Bars in the city in the next year, and the Fellows say that the mobile unit is a great way to determine which parts of the city will support additional locations.

In addition to Squeezed Juice Bar, their photography studio Blue Sky Images opened in Nob Hill in 1994 and currently operates in Palomas Plaza, south of Paseo Del Norte on San Pedro NE. The couple also co-own Cold Smoke Photography in Taos Ski Valley and operate the on-the-mountain photo concession in the ski area. Vickie coaches swimming for the Vipers of Albuquerque Swim Team (VAST) and Ryan is also a firearms instructor and teaches concealed carry courses and advanced handgun training throughout the state. The two have been married for 21 years and have three daughters.
