Raleigh, NC, September 08, 2007 --(PR.com)-- This is our 7th annual Central NC Pagan Pride Day Festival (http://cncppd.org) held at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, celebrating the autumn equinox with workshops, live music, lots of vendors, food and local groups, special activities for kids, raffles, auctions and public rituals. With the first held in 2001, attendance has grown by hundreds a year. This year we expect over a thousand attendees, and have over 50 bands, vendors, and local pagan groups attending.

On the main stage is the Pagan Battle of the Bands, featuring Splintered Reality, 7 Stitches and Dischordia. On the green are weapons and battle demonstrations by the European Medievel Arts of Arms, music from The Easy Street Jug Conspiracy, a four woman acoustic band featuring guitar, fiddle, washboard, kazoo and of course, jug, and belly dancing performed by Rebekah and Kasha, as passionate about dance as they are about life.

So come and visit us, learn about neopaganism, and have a little Greek food while you shop booths from local craftsmen, artists and more.
