Austin Senior Resource Center Present Free Seminar: A Good Home, a Safe Home, a Beautiful Home

Austin, TX, September 21, 2013 --(PR.com)-- As the population ages, more and more senior citizens and their caregiver families are faced with the challenges of “downsizing”: usually a move for the elder from the traditional family home into a smaller apartment or an assisted living community. In this seminar you will learn more about the alternative option to “age in place.”

Pat and Ginger Barnett are NAHB Certified Aging in Place Specialists who are co-owners of Ageless Spaces, a home remodeling company serving the Austin area since 2001. The seminar will include presentation and discussion of the remodeling options available to you and your family if you make the decision to “Age in Place” rather than move to a Senior Independent Living Community, along with many other pertinent topics.

“As a Realtor who specializes in helping senior citizens and their families with their real estate needs, this part of my job is a great joy. Seniors and their families often don't know which way to turn when making these important decisions,” says Cummings. “Remaining safely in the family home can be achieved with the right resources and professionals in place. Home buyers need to also at future needs when purchasing a home, so that they can Age in Place gracefully.”

To help Lakeway seniors and their families accomplish life transition with the most ease, local real estate agent Cyndi Cummings of Keller Williams has teamed with the Austin Senior Resource Center to provide the free seminar Live Comfortably in Your Home at Keller Williams Lake Travis located at 1921 Lohman's Crossing, suite 100 in Lakeway.
