In “Going Viral,” Connie Ramos-Williams will share her strategies for developing dynamic advertising and social media campaigns that make an impact within their target market. She will also offer tips on how to get the media’s attention by creating effective media alerts. In addition, participants will learn what common mistakes are made, how to identify media resources and build contacts, and the value of a public relations and marketing agency. This session also includes presentations from Bryon McCartney of Brilliant Lens, LLC on ways visual media makes your message more meaningful and Kirsten O’Donnell from Goodwill Industries on how to use search engine advertising to effectively target your audience.

She is a Founding member of the Tiger Bay Club of Southwest Florida, and an active member of Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, Southwest Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Above Board Chamber of Commerce, Southwest Florida Manufacturers Association, Rotary Club of South Fort Myers and serves on the 20th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee with the Florida Bar Association. She has been the project director for the BIG Backpack Event for more than 13 years now. The event serves more than 2,000 school age children with free backpacks and school supplies each year. Connie is a native Floridian originally from Miami. She and her husband, Rick Williams, have four grown children.
