Area 51 Entertainment Launches Its Series A Funding Round

Area 51 Entertainment, a feature film production and distribution company, is pleased to announce it has launched its Series A funding round. The company is selling between 5 shares and 500 shares.

Egg Harbor Township, NJ, September 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Area 51 Entertainment is pleased to announce it has launched its Series A funding round. Area 51 Entertainment was formed on January 19th, 2011 as a privately held New Jersey C-Corporation with the intent of specializing in the development, packaging, production, and distribution of motion pictures for global theatrical, television, and video markets. Over the preceding two and a half years Area 51 Entertainment has developed a total of fourteen films for production over the ensuing three years, with most budgets in the $1 million to $35 million range.

Area 51 Entertainment’s first film slated for production is currently going by the production titled of “Coming out for Christmas.” Pre-Production, budgeting, and preliminary casting and location scouting, on this project have already been performed by the partners. Area 51 Entertainment also has thirteen additional films in development; “Diamond in the Rough,” a drama film, about two teenage girls growing up in an abusive household, “Agent: Undercover,” an action/adventure teenage spy film, and “Spirit of Rock,” a comedy/drama, about a poor rock band trying to make it. Area 51 Entertainment is also developing ten other projects including, “The Pines” trilogy, “The Last Days of Summer,” “Reflex,” “Redacted,” “Faith in Fragments,” “The Terranians,” and sequels to both “Agent: Undercover” and “Spirit of Rock.

Area 51 Entertainment’s Series A funding round consists of a minimum of 5 shares, with a minimum gross proceeds of $100,000.00, and a maximum of 500 shares, with a maximum gross proceeds of $10,000,000.00. The Company will be conducting the offering in such a manner that shares may be sold only to “Accredited Investors” as that term is defined in Rule 501(a) of Regulation D promulgated under the Securities Act of 1933 (the “Securities Act”).

The offering is not underwritten and the shares are offered on a “best efforts” basis by the company through its officers and directors.
