Ms. Pennsylvania America Raises Awareness for ALS

Ms. Pennsylvania America 2013, Malinda Koncar, is raising awareness for ALS after losing her father to the horrible disease. Her team, Muscle Magic, for the Northern Ohio ALS Association Chapter is scheduled for their main event October 13, 2013.

Hermitage, PA, September 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Malinda Koncar has been raising awareness for ALS for 3 years. It was not until after her father passed in March of 2013 that she was driven to increase her efforts. She recently competed for Ms. America in Costa Mesa, CA. Malinda won 2nd runner up for Ms. America, 4th runner up for Ms. International, and received the coveted Power of the Crown Award for her philanthropist efforts. She returned back to her home state of Pennsylvania to continue her efforts. Malinda has spoken at several events including Relay for Life, emceed a charity fundraiser for the Special Olympics, hometown community events and multiple ALS events.

Her goal is to raise $100,000 for her father's previous ALS team: Muscle Magic, as well as have 100 walkers on her team and have all states represented as "Virtual Walkers."

You can join Ms. Pennsylvania America 2013 in her ALS Awareness efforts by joining team Muscle Magic as a virtual walker, or attending the event to be held at Eastwood Field on October 13, 2013. Please visit alsa.org Youngstown/Warren Walk and join team Muscle Magic.
