Morton Grove, IL, October 23, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Halloween would not be the big holiday it is today without two things, costumes and haunted houses. Since 2011, Fear City Chicago Haunted House, located at 8240 Austin Avenue in Morton Grove (between Oakton Street and Lincoln Avenue) has worked together with Fantasy Costumes at 4065 Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago’s Portage Park neighborhood near Six Corners to make the "Halloween Season" enjoyable for many, both young and old alike.
Now in its third year, Fear City Chicago Haunted House will be open to the public to come and enjoy their unique blend of haunting and theatrical experiences with the haunted house-going public. Labeled by Huffington Post in 2012 as “Chicago’s Scariest Haunted House” which is joined in 2013 by a new second show, Fables Studio’s “Carnivale”; a seasoned cast of actors combined with professional lighting and sound are all merged to create a special holiday experience.
In the business since 1965, George Garcia’s shop has grown into an all-year business in an over one city block long building offering a huge selection of items for not only Halloween, but all kinds of masks, wigs, make-up and accessories for costume parties and other events.
Fantasy Costume has an array of masks, key chains and other item for sale at Fear City's concession stand so those attending the show can pick up a souvenir or something to enhance their Halloween look.
