)-- Dr. Roger Friedman, a Podiatrist at Advanced Foot Care and Laser Center in Elyria, has been appointed as an adjunct clinical instructor at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine . In this position, Dr. Friedman will be responsible for clinical instruction in Podiatric medicine and surgery to students who rotate through his office during their fourth year externships with the college.
Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, formerly the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, was one of the first in the nation to graduate physicians specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle. The college, located in Independence, Ohio, has graduated over 5,000 podiatric physicians and surgeons.
As a Lorain County foot specialist for over 27 years, Friedman has extensive experience and training in treating general problems of the foot and ankle as well as a focus on laser treatments for ingrown toenails and warts. In addition to his role on the adjunct clinical faculty at KSUCPM, he helps to instruct the residents from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and the St. Vincent Charity Hospital podiatric surgical programs.

Dr. Roger Friedman is a podiatrist and foot surgical specialist at Advanced Foot Care and Laser Center in Elyria, Ohio. Friedman received his undergraduate degree from Case Western Reserve University and his medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine where he received the Alumni Award for Clinical Proficiency. He completed a residency in foot surgery at Huron Road Hospital in Cleveland.
