FARROW Commercial Construction Completes Southwest U.S. Projects

FARROW Commercial Construction, a national hospitality construction company, reports upon productive summer.

Santa Rosa, CA, October 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- It’s been a long, hot and productive summer for FARROW Commercial Construction, a nationwide commercial construction company based in Santa Rosa, CA.

Los Abrigados, a Diamond Resort has called on FARROW to undertake ongoing work at its meandering 22-acre property set against the banks of the famous Oak Creek in Sedona, Arizona. Filled with winding walkways, cascading fountains and shady nooks in the foothills of Arizona's Red Rock Country the resort is located just past the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village. FARROW’s most recent contribution to the upgrading of the resort is bringing the Outdoor Heated Salt Water Pool up to current ADA requirements. Los Abrigados also boasts a children’s pool as well as a spacious hot tub.

“Diamond Resorts wanted to not only ensure that they were up to legal ADA standards, but also that these requirements were met aesthetically and within strict budgetary constraints. We were proud to accomplish both goals,” said John Farrow, President and CEO of the hospitality construction firm.

Another endeavor in the Southwestern U.S. is underway Starwood Vacation Ownership’s Desert Oasis project. The peaceful Sonoran Desert resort is a popular Scottsdale, Arizona locale. FARROW is hard at work building 78 additional units in Phase III. In its entirety the project will include 300 +/- villas. The one- and two-bedroom villas are up to 1290 sq. ft. of vacation living space which can accommodate up to eight adults.

According to John FARROW, “Our association with Starwood goes back to a successful relationship at its Westin Kierland Resort just up the road from the Desert Oasis. Our only difficulty was staying away from the beautiful golf course and soaking up the relaxing, renewing vibes of this elegant place.”

Other Recent projects completed by the national hospitality construction company include the Hilton Fort Wayne, the Marriott Palm Beach Gardens, Vacation Internationale’s Villas at Santa Fe and Phase II of the Tapestry managed Park Plaza in Park City. The company just finished work on a HYATT House in San Diego. Some other current and recent clients include Grand Pacific Resort Management, Westin Kierland Villas (Starwood Vacation Ownership), Bluebeards Castle (SPM Resorts), Grand Lodge at Peak 7 (Breckenridge Grand Vacations), Worldmark and Best Western.

John Farrow, a featured speaker at numerous industry events, will be attending the ARDA (American Resort Development Association) Fall Conference where he chairs the Construction and Design Committee.
