Free Notary Services Offered by Notaries for Alabama

In recognition of National Notary Public Day, a notary support group, Notaries for Alabama, will provide free notary services to the general public on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 10am to 5:30 pm at the Birmingham Public Library, 2100 Park Place, Birmingham, AL 35203. Free parking available. Bring government issued ID and the un-signed form.

Birmingham, AL, October 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- National Notary Public Day recognizes notaries for their public service and their contribution to local, national and international commerce.

"This is our first time hosting a community service event and we're excited to see how many forms we'll notarize in seven and a half hours," said Michelle Riley, Founder of Notaries for Alabama. "We encourage other Alabama Notaries to come to the library on November 7th to network and learn more about the notary support group."

The event kicks off at 10am with the reading of an official Notary Day Proclamation by the Birmingham Mayor's Office. Alabama's Secretary of State, Jim Bennett will attend to show his support of Alabama Notaries across the state.

No appointment is necessary. Most forms will be accepted. No deeds or real estate documents, please. The event ends at 5:30 pm.
