Steam-Powered Internet Thriller "PROGRESS, the Webseries” Hosts Panel at VidfestUK During MCM London Comic Con

London, United Kingdom, October 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Episode One of the 10-episode series PROGRESS will be screening in a special presentation at MCM London Comic Con as part of VidfestUK.

British comedic actor Andy Pandini (from "Harold's Going Stiff") will be hosting the presentation and answering a Q & A panel afterwards.

PROGRESS is a steampunk thriller about a parallel timeline where 19th Century England has a steam-powered Internet and Jack the Ripper posts his crimes on their version of Wikileaks.

The series stars Ben Whalen (of "To Be King") as a Sherlockian hacker, Rebecca Lynch (from "Game Night") as a seductive cam-harlot and Derek Houck (from "Napoleon Bon Appétit") as a deranged Internet troll.

Anna Mountford (from BBC’s “Jack of Hearts”) supplies the computer's voice, Andy Pandini plays a pundit stirring the masses against the Ripper and Kai Cofer plays the Scotland Yard constable in charge of cyber-security.

The series is directed by indie-film wunderkind Nicole Wright and written by seasoned screenwriter Armando Saldanamora.

The special effects are supplied by British animator-editor Paul Lada, who made possible the visuals of Prometheus, Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows, Tomb Raider and Charlotte's Web amongst others.

PROGRESS is produced by Digital Content Production Company “Flawless Victory Media” that specializes in high quality web series.

Critics have hailed the series as “a truly innovative and intelligent story” and “production values not seen on the web before.”

Catch the PROGRESS presentation and panel on October 27th at 11:30AM.
