Noted PR Expert Jennefer Witter to Author "101 PR Tips For Entrepreneurs"

New York, NY, November 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- E-Book to Share Strategies for Getting Your “Unfair Share” of Business-Building Attention

Jennefer Witter, the CEO and founder of boutique public relations firm The Boreland Group Inc., today announced that she has signed an agreement with AMACOM, the book publishing division of the American Management Association, to author an e-book set for publication in 2014. Tentatively titled “101 PR Tips for Entrepreneurs,” the how-to will feature actionable, nuts and bolts advice for start-up and established business owners on effectively leveraging public relations to gain their “unfair share” of business-building attention.

“I’ve been in public relations for more than three decades and have seen the discipline grow into what it is today -- a critical business component that benefits businesses of all sizes,” says Witter. “I’m extremely pleased to help entrepreneurs, whether they are new or established, learn the ins and outs of PR so that they can personally experience its proven return on investment.”

Witter’s e-book will feature a foreword by Janet Hanson, the founder of 85 Broads , a global networking organization composed of more than 30,000 high-achieving women. Hanson was recently named to Fast Company’s list of “25 Smartest Women on Twitter” and Gotham Magazine’s “Power List: Finance Bigwigs & The Establishment.” “I am very pleased to pen the foreword for this book,” says Hanson. “Jennefer is a smart and intuitive PR expert and I know her tips will help many, many business owners.”

Answering Market Need
The e-book evolved from an overwhelmingly positive reaction to a weekly series of public relations tips Witter had been posting on her social media pages. Based on the high interest level, Witter, along with the publisher, saw a market for this expanded book of tips.

“Jennefer’s e-book will meet a growing need in today’s business environment,” says Ellen Kadin, executive editor, AMACOM. “With a lackluster job market, more small businesses are forming each year, and start-ups are fragile; yet there is a lack of concise, reader-friendly information available on how these cash-strapped companies can leverage PR to increase market share and revenue. We were impressed by Jennefer’s thoughtful proposal and her credentials in the industry, and we’re delighted to be publishing her smart and timely e-book.”
