Ocean-Based TaoMassage and Organize by Design to Offer Gifts of Gratitude to Local Community
Women-Business Owners Collaborate to Offer Complimentary Health and Well-Being Services to Women this Holiday Season. Nominations sought for deserving women.
Ocean, NJ, November 08, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Woman Rising, a division of TaoMassage, a dynamic living center based in Ocean NJ, today announced it will be partnering with Organize by Design, a professional organizing service also based in Ocean, to donate free massage and skincare services to women in the local community. Spearheaded by Vivian Taormina and Jessica Carroll, the collaborative duo are seeking nominations from the public for women – be it colleagues, partners, neighbors and friends, the woman who always smiles at you at your local shop– who would be considered deserving candidates of a free spa service this holiday season.
“The type of woman that a person might nominate is someone who is always putting others before her own needs,” said Taormina, owner of TaoMassage. “Everyone deserves to experience the restorative properties of massage and spa treatments. Unfortunately, in today’s fast-paced world they are so often overlooked or devalued as a luxury when indeed they are a necessity; like a mini vacation. Jessica and I are excited to receive nominations from the local community. TaoMassage anticipates providing services for underserved women during and December & January, conveniently timed with a sometimes stressful pre and post holiday season.” Taormina’s intention is to continue this giving cycle by additionally reserving $10 from each regular massage session from her existing clientele, who choose to participate, to replenish funds needed to serve more women. As TaoMassage grows Taormina’s goal is to continue with a model of micro-finance, but for wellness for an underserved population.
Taormina and Carroll encourage the local community to give the gift of gratitude by nominating women they feel are deserving of the complimentary services. They will review suggestions from the public and select four women from the nominations submitted electronically via info@taomassage.com. The deadline for submission is November 25, 2013.
Only emailed nominations will be considered and must include the following:
1. Name and contact information of nominee
2. Name and contact information of nominator
3. A supporting essay or statement of 500 words or less detailing why the nominee should be one of the four women selected.
Once nominees are chosen, they will be announced via the Tao Massage Facebook page. The nominated women will have their picture or video taken as the vehicle to express a gratitude message to their sponsors.
Taormina created Woman Rising as a division of TaoMassage’s dynamic living offerings. Woman Rising events and classes are designed to nourish, educate and inspire each woman (rising) inside in a safe supportive atmosphere where one may have the freedom to create and be inspired by other women through unique program offerings. All Woman Rising programs are presented by women leaders for women only.
