James E. Smith Jr, Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Alabama, Has Been Named Princeton Premiers Honored Member in Education

Huntsville, AL, September 20, 2007 --(PR.com)-- James E. Smith Jr, professor of chemical engineering at the University of Alabama, has been named Princeton Premiers Honored Member in Education. James teaches chemical engineering as well as heading up a research team looking for significant advances in taking measurements. James obtained a PHD in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. James is accredited from various organizations including the AIAA, ASCHE and ACS. Also, James is a former military officer serving three and a half years in the United States Air Force.

When not diligently working on his research or educating the students at the University of South Carolina, James enjoys both scuba diving and golf. He is a welcome addition in the upcoming 2007-2008 Princeton Premier Registry.
