US Toy Company Teams Up with Grandview Assistance Program

US Toy Company and Grandview Assistance Program work together to help the less fortunate.

Grandview, MO, November 23, 2013 --(PR.com)-- US Toy Company is proud to announce that for the second year in a row, they will be teaming up with the Grandview Assistance Program to help the less fortunate in the Kansas City area.

The Grandview Assistance Program, or GAP, has been servicing their local community for over 20 years. What started as a small church outreach has since turned into the fully functional non-profit they are today. GAP was created to provide emergency assistance with basis needs such as rent, utility payments, and food to those in need.

This holiday season, US Toy Company and its employees have committed to donating food to GAP to give to those in need during the holiday season. US Toy held a food drive at their corporate office where employees were encouraged to bring in assorted food items to be delivered to GAP. The food will be distributed to families in need this Thanksgiving. US Toy Company co-CEO Jonathan Freiden said, “There are so many amazing organizations in our city reaching out to help those in need. We are very thankful that we were able to partner with GAP again this year.”
