TITLE Boxing Club Springfield Creates Niche Employment Opportunities for the Community

Saturday, Nov. 30 is Small Business Saturday. TITLE Boxing Club Springfield is an example of young entrepreneurs finding success with their small business. The franchise, located in Springfield, Va. has created niche jobs for people with specialized training and skills who may otherwise find it hard to find employment opportunities in their field.

Springfield, VA, November 27, 2013 --(PR.com)-- With the job market still slow, many baby-boomers cringe when their adult children decide to leave stable employment and start a business. Here’s another way to look at it – those entrepreneurial children are not just creating jobs for themselves, but with success, their small business may create niche jobs for others in the community as well.

TITLE Boxing Club Springfield is a prime example of what a successful small business brings to the community. In this case, a brother and sister team of entrepreneurs did their homework, left their traditional employment and made the leap to becoming business owners – generating niche jobs and offering the community a new resource for personal fitness.

"TITLE Boxing Club Springfield has created a career opportunity for people like me, who come from boxing or kickboxing backgrounds, while also enabling us to stay active and help people reach their personal health and fitness goals," said Julian Morales, a former Golden Gloves boxer and current TITLE Boxing Club Springfield trainer. TITLE Boxing Club Springfield created a place for people like me to stay involved and earn an income in a sport where there aren’t a lot of opportunities, unless you are competing among, or training, the highest level fighters.”

As a teen, Kate Carski, co-owner of TITLE Boxing Club Springfield, aspired to someday be a business owner. After a career as a government contractor and an impactful conversation with a Franchise consultant, she found herself on the path of entrepreneurship. “When I was ready, it made sense to ask for guidance,” said Carski. “I wanted to make sure I considered all the factors of franchise ownership, and selected the best franchise for me.”

To help in identifying the best choice of business for her personality traits, strengths and interests, Carski enlisted the expertise of a franchise consultant. It was through that conversation she decided on TITLE Boxing Club.

Teaming up with her brother, Sam Heaps, the two opened TITLE Boxing Club Springfield in October of 2012. Their second club, TITLE Boxing Club Falls Church is set to open in December or early January.

Currently, TITLE Boxing Club Springfield employs 10 people. Employees there range from personal trainers, to amateur fighters to college students studying sports management. The club also uses an Alkaline Antioxidant Water System which was purchased locally from Renewed Living, Inc. and teams up with other local businesses to cross-promote what those businesses offer their clients.
