The Gellman Team Announces Holiday Open House & Charity Drive; Aims to Help Needy St. Louis Families
St. Louis, MO, November 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- When Mark Gellman and Neil Gellman founded their real estate company in 2007, they made giving back to the community a priority. “We’re both St. Louis natives, and we have deep roots in the area,” Mark Gellman explains. “Reaching out to help those in need has always been a part of our core values.”
Co-Founder Neil Gellman agrees. “We’ve seen the impact that unexpected hardships can have on St. Louis families. The holidays can be a very difficult time for those who already lack basic needs.”
The Gellmans point out that while the economy and housing market have improved, there are those who have been left behind by the recovery. “The demand placed upon charity organizations in recent years has been enormous,” says Mark Gellman. “And it hasn’t let up. So Neil and I decided to put an extra push behind our charity efforts this season, and we’re inviting everyone to be a part of it.”
The Gellman Team invites the public to attend their 2013 Holiday Open House & Charity
Drive on Saturday, December 7th. The event will feature a free continental breakfast with juice and coffee. It will be held at the Gellman Team’s Coldwell Banker affiliate office at 2203 South Big Bend Boulevard in St. Louis, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
“This is about giving back, so bring the kids,” says Mark Gellman. “All we ask is that you bring a non-perishable food item for us to distribute to local food pantries, an unwrapped toy, or an item from the list of 100 Neediest Cases. By pooling our efforts together, we can make a bigger difference.”
Proceeds from the event will be shared with St. Louis area food pantries, Toys for Tots, and with the 100 Neediest Cases of St. Louis, which the Gellman Team has supported for many years.
