)-- Education Management LLC has renamed Tucson Design College as The Art Institute of Tucson. The Art Institute of Tucson, currently located at 1030 North Alvernon Way, has joined Education Management’s Art Institutes system of schools.
The Art Institutes is a system of over 35 locations throughout North America, providing an important source of design, media arts, fashion and culinary arts professionals.

Initially, The Art Institute of Tucson will offer Bachelor of Arts degree programs in Advertising, Culinary Arts, Digital Filmmaking & Video Production, Graphic Design, Interactive Media Design, Interior Design, and Media Arts & Animation; and Associate of Applied Science degree programs in Culinary Arts and Graphic Design.
