About George Satterthwaite II
Col. George Satterthwaite II has served the U.S. Army in major assignments since 1957. He has been Fire Control Platoon Leader, Petroleum Depot Commander, Supply Officer for the United Nations Military Armistice Commission and Investigations Control Officer for U.S. Army Intelligence Command. He has also served as an Assistant U.S. Army Attache, an Intelligence Advisor and Intelligence Analyst. He has been a member of the Army General Staff and Chief Intelligence Analysis/Briefing Team Defense Intelligence Agency supporting the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff and Team Chief National Military Intelligence Center. Col. Satterthwaite has many honors and awards. He has been awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, a Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal (3), the U.S. Army Commendation Medal (3), SAR Bronze Good Citizenship Medal and War Service Medal. Col. Satterthwaite is on the Alumni Executive Board of the Sidwell Friends School and Chairman of the Alumni Fundraising Committee as well as on the Executive Board of the Piscataway Hills Citizens Association.
