Enterprising Women Welcomes Three New Members to Advisory Board

Necole Parker, Sabina Teshler and Tracy Balazs to Serve as Board Members

Raleigh, NC, December 08, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Monica Smiley, publisher and CEO of Enterprising Women magazine, has appointed Necole Parker, Sabina Teshler and Tracy Balazs to the Enterprising Women Advisory Board. The Enterprising Women Advisory Board is comprised of a select group of women and men who show their support for the publication and give back to the women business owners’ community — helping provide leadership, motivation and inspiration to thousands of women entrepreneurs across the U.S., Canada and the globe.

Parker is the founder and CEO of The Elocen Group, LLC, a full-service program and project management firm. In addition to sitting on Enterprising Women’s advisory board, Parker is an executive board director for the Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce, board vice president for RIMS Center for Enrichment and Development and is a U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. President’s Circle member.

In addition, Parker is the recipient of many awards, including the 2013 Women in Business Champion of the Year of the DC Chamber of Commerce, 2012 Future 50 Emerging Growth Award from SmartCEO and 2013 Women Who Mean Business Award from the Washington Business Journal. Parker has a passion for community involvement establishing the Necole Parker Foundation, which serves as an advocacy framework for teen mothers and African American males raised in single parent households.

As founder of SET, a visual creative agency, Teshler leads a national team of offices in Portland, New York and Ohio. She began her career at IKON as a retail consultant, where she quickly developed a reputation for delivering results. Teshler also spent time as an account executive at Ivey Performance Marketing, where she acquired large clients such as Nike. Her ability to manage large retail platforms while delivering cost savings by streamlining processes and value engineering set the groundwork for the company she runs today.

Working as a nurse for over 25 years, Balazs’ passion lies with helping patients and their families. While maintaining a full-time job at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., Tracy founded Federal Staffing Resources (FSR), a woman-owned, minority, small business serving the nation’s service members, federal agencies and other commercial clients. Since its founding in 2004, FSR has provided premier patient care services to America’s soldiers through the employment of clinicians and personnel that have proven excellence in their respective fields.

Balazs and her company are recipients of many awards, including the 2013 Maryland Top 100 Business Entrepreneurs, 2013 Baltimore SmartCEO Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies, the 50 Fastest Growing Women-Owned Companies in North America by The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) and the 2013 Entrepreneurial Success of the Year Award by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
