Women TIES announces the addition of a new member to their advisory board.

Syracuse, NY, September 24, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Women TIES, Women Together Inspiring Entrepreneurial Success, announces the addition of Theresa Slater, President of Empire Interpreting Service, LLC to the Women TIES Advisory Board.

Slater is the founder and President of Empire Interpreting Service, LLC, an Interpreting Referral Agency in Central New York with more than 100 professional Sign Language and Spoken Language Interpreters providing services throughout New York and Pennsylvania in legal, educational, medical, mental health, platform and religious settings. Under Slater’s leadership, the company now staffs offices in Homer and Syracuse, New York.

Tracy Higginbotham, President of Women TIES, explains why Slater was chosen for the board, “Terre has strong leadership and business skills as well as a presence in the Finger Lakes region where an increasing number of women entrepreneurs are looking for the services Women TIES offers.” Women TIES will be hosting quarterly events in the Finger Lakes region in 2008 to support and promote women entrepreneurs. “As Women
TIES expands its programs to specific regions in New York, it makes sense to have regional representation on the company’s advisory board,” Higginbotham states.

Women TIES mission is to create a regional marketplace for women
entrepreneurs in Central New York. Through an active website, diverse communication mediums and events, women-owned businesses are promoted frequently so their companies can gain visibility and forge economic connections with other women entrepreneurs to increase corporate sales.
