StreetLight Mission Will Host a Christmas Celebration for the Homeless and Those Adversely Affected by the Slow Economy

For most of us this Christmas season will create many wonderful memories… joyous times together with loved ones, delicious home cooked meals, and gifts of warmth and love. But, for many this year, the Christmas season will be a time of despair and loneliness. It is StreetLight Mission’s goal to give the gift of hope through a fun filled celebration of faith.

Jersey City, NJ, December 14, 2013 --( On Sunday, December 15th, StreetLight Mission will host their 9th annual Christmas Celebration to bring the joy of Christmas to hundreds of struggling individuals, due to the downturn in the economy. The party will be held at the historic Winfield Scott Ballrooms in Elizabeth New Jersey, at 323 North Broad Street from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Admission is free to registered guests of StreetLight Mission. Walk-ins will be allowed on a first come first served basis as space permits. Event organizers are expecting 600 guests and 200 volunteers. Guests will enjoy a sit down four-course dinner and entertainment.
