)-- Eileen Kisailus is a wife, mother of two and busy full-time special education teacher who decided to make a powerful change when she hit her forties by launching Lunar Radiance, a company that offers women relief from night sweats and proof that baby boomer women are on the move.
After many nights suffering from night sweats, she stumbled into a store that sold "wicking pajamas." The next morning, she was amazed at the results of the comfortable nightclothes and realized that her new-found relief needed to be shared with other mid-life woman. “There are thousands upon thousands of us looking for solutions, support, information and products that will enhance our lives at this age.” she thought. So the baby boomer, decided to banish those nightly hot flashes and founded her own company, Lunar Radiance. Her headquarters is based in New Jersey and she sells these hot flash pajamas and wicking nightgowns online.
Kisailus has learned a lot about herself and about running a start-up business in her spare time. After a year, the “Pajama Lady” is still passionate about her mission. “I hope my sleepwear brings women the comfort that mine have brought me. If Lunar Radiance can lead them to a renewed feeling of well being and offer support at a time that can be quite challenging, then my mission has been accomplished.”
In addition, Kisailus believes that her startup is an example of how powerful baby boomer women are. “We have a lot of life experience and a lot of passion. We are entering a new stage in our lives and it is important for women to know that the possibilities are endless if they stay focused and committed to their desires.”
Lunar Radiance also offers books, DVD's, beauty products, resources and gift ideas for women, a Free Monthly Ezine, Free "Sleep Tips for Women" and a boomer blog called “Hot Flashing Thoughts.”
