MyCorporation.com Releases Top Business Trends in 2013

Calabasas, CA, December 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- With 15 years of supporting entrepreneurship in the incorporation and LLC formation industry, MyCorporation.com is wrapping up the year with a review of top business trends in the United States in their new infographic "2013 Business Trends: Year in Review," found at http://blog.mycorporation.com/2013/12/2013-business-trends-year-in-review-infographic/.

Based on MyCorporation's data, including over 100,000 businesses formed, the largest area of growth for business in 2013 was in micro-sized businesses, followed by extra large Fortune 500 companies. The infographic breaks down areas of growth by industry with a 16% growth tie for professional, scientific and technical services and mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction.

Of businesses surveyed, the forecast for the recovering economy in 2014 is strong. Sixty-five percent of businesses expect growth opportunities to increase while 53% plan to hire additional workers and 35% anticipate the general business marketplace to improve in 2014.

CEO Steven Gordon, who started his business with MyCorporation, said that his company AudenDesign.com is seeing similar trends. "We are continuing to see improving opportunities and business growth as we wind down 2013. Our business is forecasting growth into 2014. We are optimistic about the economy and the upcoming year."

The infographic examines which employee skills are highest in demand and the policies most likely to lead to job creation. Of the privately-held businesses polled, 57% are looking for sales and marketing skill sets in employees. As for the top growing industries in 2014, promising opportunities lie within the tutoring, mobile app, and web design industries, all of which are expected to rise within the area of $25 to $201 billion.

"The end of the year is an exciting time to look back and reflect, as well as to project what the upcoming year will look like. Overall, small businesses are seeing great opportunity and growth in 2014, and that is exciting for businesses like ours that help to support the establishment and growth of those new businesses," says MyCorporation.com's CEO, Deborah Sweeney.
