Dallas, TX, December 24, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- On Friday, December 20th, SWITCH TAPS, LLC introduced an innovative, interchangeable beer tap system that allows beer enthusiasts to label their beer with a single tap handle. This tap system is perfect for home brewers, kegerator owners and frequent growler users, as it provides a unique way to economically brand and showcase brews with a sleek professional look.
SWITCH TAPS has launched an online crowd funding campaign via Kickstarter to raise company funding. These products will be made available for the first time ever to backers who pledge their support. Once the campaign has concluded, products can be purchased at www.switchtaps.com.
SWITCH TAPS Co-Founder Matt Logue said "Our tap handle system is the first of its kind. You can now brand your home bar, growler and beer fridge with a single system. You no longer have to purchase a new tap handle each time you change out the beer in your kegerator. Now you can simply switch the logo."
The SWITCH TAP handle is a patent-pending design which attaches to any standard beer faucet (3/8" x 16 UNC), and accepts magnetized acrylic labels, representing various craft and home brews. The tap handle and choice of label can also be attached to a standard 64oz growler using a custom 2-part cap and stopper system. The face plate labels also function as a magnet for a beer fridge.
Six acrylic labels will be introduced featuring the most popular types of beer: Ale, IPA, Lager, Pilsner, Stout and Wheat. Plans to introduce new versions of tap handles and face plate designs throughout 2014 are already underway. Next year, SWITCH TAPS will also begin working with breweries across the country to introduce brewery specific SWITCH TAP products.
Jonathan Logue, SWITCH TAPS Co-Founder added, "If you are a retailer who knows how passionate and loyal the brewing community is about their favorite beer, it makes for a great item to offer in your gift shop after a brewery tour or to use as a promotional item to boost sales."
