GSF Mortgage Welcomes Regional Manager
Brookfield, WI, December 22, 2013 --(PR.com)-- GSF Mortgage is pleased to welcome industry expert, Heath Pomeroy as Regional Manager in Des Moines, Iowa.
Pomeroy comes to GSF Mortgage with more than 20 years of industry experience. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in history and political science. After college, he investigated various career choices and settled on the financial industry.
Pomeroy called a connection at a local bank to ask for an internship, only to find out the bank didn’t offer them. Determined, Pomeroy set up the internship himself. He started off in retail banking and migrated toward mortgage lending. This allowed him to get exposure to a variety of areas in the banking industry and find the best fit for him.
Since then, Pomeroy has held positions such as Mortgage Loan Originator and Director of Mortgage Services. He has been a part of start-ups and managed regions in multiple states.
Pomeroy will be overseeing branches in Des Moines, Ames, Council Bluff, Iowa City and Cedar Rapids. His goal by the end of the year is to have a group in place in Cedar Rapids and establish the other branches by mid-January. He is also working with existing mortgage broker companies to merge them with GSF in order to add more locations.
