Notary Public Seminar: New Standards for Mortgage Signings

Birmingham, AL, January 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Chris Sturdivant, of the National Notary Association, will be the featured speaker at the upcoming January meeting for Notaries for Alabama. The event is open to all notaries who serve as Notary Signing Agents; employees of title companies and mortgage origination professionals.

Mr. Sturdivant’s presentation, via Skype videoconference, will be on the subject of “Signing Professionals Workgroup and the Certified Signing Specialist Standards.”

Chris Sturdivant, President of the Signing Professionals Workgroup (SPW), and Director of Business Development for the National Notary Association, will talk about the new standards, how they originated, and what the impact might be locally to notaries and others involved in real estate closings.
