Norman Reedus, William Shatner, Stan Lee, WWE Superstar Sheamus Among Top Celebrity Guests at Inaugural Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con, March 7-9

Norman Reedus, William Shatner, Stan Lee and WWE Superstar Sheamus are among the top celebrities attending the inaugural Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con, March 7-9 at the Sacramento Convention Center. Bruce Campbell, Billy Dee Williams, Julie Benz, Ralph Macchio and top comics creators also among highlight stars at the pop culture festival.

Sacramento, CA, January 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Norman Reedus of “The Walking Dead,” “Star Trek's” “Captain Kirk” William Shatner, WWE® Superstar Sheamus® and Eisner Award Hall of Famer Stan Lee are among the top celebrities scheduled to attend the inaugural Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con, March 7-9, 2014, at the Sacramento Convention Center. The standout roster will also include Bruce Campbell of Evil Dead, pop culture icons Billy Dee Williams (The Empire Strikes Back, Brian's Song) and Ralph Macchio (The Karate Kid, My Cousin Vinny), Julie Benz (“No Ordinary Family,” “Defiance”) and many others. It is the third of 16 events currently scheduled in the 2014 series produced by Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) and will also feature a top-drawer collection of well-known artists and writers and a variety of activities, exhibitors and special attractions.

Reedus, Campbell and Williams will appear on Saturday and Sunday, March 8-9. Lee, Shatner and Benz will attend on Friday and Saturday; Sheamus will appear on Saturday; and Macchio is scheduled for all three days.

Superstar comics creators scheduled to attend include Eisner Award Hall of Famer Neal Adams (“Batman,” “Superman”), Eisner winner Paolo Rivera (“All-New X-Men,” “Spider-Man”), nominee Ethan Van Sciver (“Green Lantern,” “Flash”), Phil Ortiz (“The Simpsons,” “Muppet Babies”) and dozens of others.

Other celebrities on the Sacramento Comic Con roster include "The Walking Dead" stars Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden and Michael Rooker, Jason David Frank (“Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers”), James Marsters (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Torchwood”), Michael Rosenbaum (“Smallville,” “Justice League”), James Hong (Blade Runner, Mulan), Ian Ziering (Sharknado, “Beverly Hills 90210”), Sean Patrick Flanery and David Della Rocco of Boondock Saints and Sara Underwood (“Attack of the Show!,” Epic Movie).

Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, comics, toys, video gaming, television, sci-fi, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con show hours are Friday, March 7, 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, March 8, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

A first-class lineup of topical programming takes place all three days at the event, with celebrity Q&A's, comics-themed sessions, costume contest, movie screenings, evening parties and more. Sunday, March 9, is also Kids Day, with an array of activities and programming specially designed for the younger Wizard World fans.

Sacramento Comic Con is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor, often stopping by the Cosplay Stage, the ideal place to see and be seen.
