JFCS’s Operation Military Assistance Program Collects Donation from Local Real Estate Professionals

Generous Property directs a portion of the professional fee earned from their latest real estate transaction to JFC's Operation Military Assistance Program. The money will go towards supporting our local veterans in need.

Sarasota, FL, January 20, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Recently the Jewish Family and Children Services’ Operation Military Assistance Program received another donation from Curt Cook and Troy Sacco of Generous Property. The donation will help local veterans throughout Sarasota County with the assistance of program director Chip Taylor and his team of volunteers.

“Operation Military Assistance is very thankful for all donations provided by the local community,” said Lisa Christy of JFCS. “The money we get from Sarasota County businesses like Generous Property can be used with fewer restrictions in contrast to federal grant money we receive.”

“We are very blessed to be able to support those who have given so much for us and our country,” added Troy Sacco.

“This donation will help us to continue our much needed work and provide our veterans with a local support system,” said Tywanda Williams.

“It is very rewarding to see our donation support our wonderful Sarasota community veterans who are in need,” Curt Cook said. “We are more than happy to take a portion of our professional fee from each transaction to assist great local non-profit organizations such as the JFCS’s Operation Military Assistance Program.” Cook continued, “We are honored to be able to touch the lives of our fellow neighbors in a positive way.”

JFCS’s Operation Military Assistance Program offers case management and financial support to very low-income veterans and their families who are homeless or who will soon to be homeless and enable them to gain or maintain stable, permanent housing.
