New owner Alan Stephens brings project management experience to lead local painting company.

Stephens decided to embark on a new business venture as a franchise owner with Five Star Painting after charting 20 years of construction management experience and 15 years of project experience as a contractor. Having graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in business management, Stephens looks to make an impact on the local community by transforming spaces through color.
“I was ready to own my own business and have always wanted to work for myself,” Stephens said. “Opening a quality business with a good track record was important to me and I’m excited to bring a reliable painting company to the residential and business community of Richmond.”
