)-- McKim & Creed, Inc., an engineering, geomatics (surveying) and planning firm with offices throughout the U.S., announces that Curtis Burkett, PE, LEED AP has joined the company’s Daytona Beach, Florida office as a regional manager.
A lifelong resident of the Daytona Beach area, Burkett has extensive experience with stormwater, water, sewer, and roadway projects, as well as municipal engineering. In his role as regional manager, he will provide strategic direction to expand McKim & Creed’s presence throughout the region.
“Curtis has been a valuable member of Daytona Beach’s engineering community for many years, and has earned an excellent reputation for design engineering, project management and quality control,” said Robert Garland, PE, Southeast regional manager with McKim & Creed. “We are very happy to have him join us at McKim & Creed.”
Burkett graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology with a degree in civil engineering. He is a LEED-accredited professional and a member of the Ormond Beach Brownfield Committee. Prior to joining McKim & Creed, Burkett served as a regional manager with Zev Cohen & Associates, Inc.
