Locals Join Together to Bring New Painting Franchise to Springfield

Springfield, VA, February 14, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Three locals have joined together to bring color to Springfield and its surrounding communities with the opening of a new Five Star Painting franchise.

Local to the Springfield and Fairfax areas respectively, co-owners Kevin Eveker and Carolyn Griffin look forward to servicing their friends, neighbors and community with a fresh coat of paint. Having moved to Springfield from the D.C. Metro area in 2013, general manager Tim Siegel is excited to become a part of the local community in his daily interactions with customers.

“As homeowners from the local area, Kevin and I both recognized the need for a high quality, customer-focused, professional home painting service,” Griffin said. “We know the kind of service we need, want and expect in our own homes, and we look forward to providing that to our community.”

Having worked together for over nine years managing other clients’ businesses, Griffin, an information technology specialist and Eveker, an aerospace engineer, decided to manage a business of their own. With a background in nonprofit management and fundraising, Siegel will lead the day-to-day operations of the painting franchise, while directing professional painting crews who are clean, on time and on budget.

“We intend to deliver a great experience for every customer, every time,” Siegel said. “Painting is all about color and we are excited to transform customers’ spaces through color.”

With a vast skill set and educational background among the three partners, the team looks to compliment each other in fulfilling all aspects of the business from sales to customer service.

“As business owners, Five Star Painting was a clear choice for us,” Eveker said. “It’s a 10-year-old, well-established company with strong back office support and national partnerships with quality brands like Sherwin-Williams. It will be the foundation for us to bring high quality, affordable painting services to the Springfield, Annandale and Alexandria areas.”
