New App to Help You Through the Pain

PainBook: diary for tracking your day-to-day symptoms.

Lincoln, United Kingdom, February 15, 2014 --(PR.com)-- A new app for the IOS system was been released on 6th September 2013. The new app has been developed by Mark Van Der Spuy and released by Aztechfilms. The app itself is a medical app that has been designed to allow users to track symptoms they are experiencing.

“I wanted to create the app to help people,” says creator, Van Der Spuy, “When I was ill the doctors and consultants never got to see what I was going through between appointments that were six to eight week apart.” PainBook is designed to be used by anyone experiencing any form of illness, whether it is long term, short term, degenerative, terminal or curable.

IOS users can record day-to-day symptoms easily through the user friendly interface. It allows for a description of the symptoms being experienced, any medication that is taken and even a sliding bar of 1 to 10 to record pain. The app also includes a photo taking facility so that images can be attached to daily diary entries.

Another feature of PainBook is the ability to have several different diaries at any one time. If you are experiencing a long term illness and contract another illness then you can chart the symptoms separately. PainBook allows you to export your diary entries and send them via email to your doctor or consultant so that they can have a full review of what your illness has been like.

PainBook makes keeping a pain diary a relatively effortless process and means you can keep track of an illness with ease, something that sufferers of diseases such as Fibromylagia, Myalgic Encephalopathy and Multiple Sclerosis will find very useful.

Painbook Diary is currently available through iTunes and the Apple app store for £0.69. For more information on Aztech Films please visit www.aztechfilms.co.uk.
