Agrion Announces Ranking of Top Innovative Young Companies in America

In the build-up to their Annual Summit in NYC, Disrupt 100+, Agrion has selected the Top 25 innovative U.S. startups in clean energy, energy efficiency, smart grid solutions, and sustainability. The rating is available through the Agrion Intelligence website, and is continuously updated to reflect changes in the market.

New York, NY, February 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Agrion launches the "Disrupt" ranking of the most innovative young companies in energy, infrastructure, and sustainability. The ranking, along with associated business intelligence, is available at www.agrion.org/disrupt.

Out of the 25+ startups selected here in Agrion’s ranking, Inertech, the disruptive sustainable cooling solution for data centers and critical facilities, has been announced as the first Featured Innovator.

Inertech’s projects in telecom, finance, and government have exemplified the alignment between sustainability and good business decisions, radically reducing power and water costs while driving down energy use, carbon emissions, and water consumption by over 80% through their custom, modular data pods and ultra-efficient cooling systems. In early 2013, they announced a record-setting 1.012 PUE (power usage effectiveness) for their eOPTI-TRAX technology through a collaboration with Skanska on projects for Telus, a leading telecommunications provider.

“Inertech is our first Featured Innovator because we believe that sustainability and environmental leaders, CIOs, real estate and IT professionals, data center executives, and energy officers could all benefit by taking note of their performance and progress,” notes Nick Davis, Managing Director – Agrion Americas.

In the Featured Company section, you can see an overview & analysis of the company, related reports and media, regularly updated remarks from Disrupt 100+ Executives, and more information on how to engage these companies.

As the Disrupt 100+ list grows, Agrion will continue to showcase innovative organizations working to develop and adopt the infrastructure technologies of the future. These 'movers and shakers' will join the rest of the network on June 11th and 12th at AGRION's Disrupt 100+ Energy & Sustainability Summit in New York.
