Bradenton, FL, February 25, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- Fannie Mae HomePath - Buyer Incentive 2014
Fannie Mae has announced recently that they are offering up to a 3.5% incentive for owner occupant buyers, requesting the incentive, upfront, with their initial offer on a Fannie Mae Homepath property, during the First Look™ period, (the first 20 days the home is on market) who purchase, in the State of Florida, (other States included, See Homepath.com for details) on or before March 31 – to close by May 31, 2014. Restrictions do apply. See Homepath.com for details.
This is great news for 'owner occupant" home buyers, especially 1st time home buyers, actively looking to buy and close on escrow before summer.
Fannie Mae’s FirstLook™ program was intended to encourage and support neighborhood stabilization, especially in areas where the percentage of distressed homes on the market is above average. By assisting "owner occupant" buyers with their goal of purchasing a home in a certain community, helps to support "pride of ownership" and encourages responsibility within that community.
- Buyer and/or Buyer's Agent must request the incentive at initial offer submission.
- Initial offer must be made on/after February 14, 2014 and on/before March 31, 2014.
- Property must be in active First Look period.
- Property sale must close on/before May 31, 2014.
- Owner occupants who will reside in the property as their primary residence and public entities may receive the incentive.
