New York, NY, October 02, 2007 --(PR.com
)-- The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) has announced it will hold its 10th Anniversary Gala at the Beaux Arts landmark St. Regis Hotel in midtown New York on Wednesday, Nov. 7. WPO members, sponsors, partners and board members will attend the event in celebration of the organization and its growth from a single 20-member chapter in New York City to approximately 1,100 members and 72 chapters coast-to-coast and in Canada.
The WPO, a nonprofit membership organization which has experienced rapid growth since its inception, was formed for a diverse group of women presidents who have guided their businesses to at least $2 million in gross annual sales or $1 million for a service-based business. Local WPO chapters are coordinated by a professional facilitator and meet monthly to share business expertise and experience in a confidential and collaborative setting.
“This gala will be a celebration of the WPO and success of it’s members and supporters,” said Marsha Firestone, president and founder of the Women Presidents’ Organization. “The WPO’s growth has been phenomenal in the last ten years and will certainly continue to accelerate during the next decade.”
