Scott Stapleton Earns CWNE®, One of the Top 10 Most Difficult Designations in the IT Industry

Stapleton is the 132nd Wireless Professional to Join the Rank of Certified Wireless Network Experts, the Esteemed Last Step in the CWNP Program.

Durham, NC, March 12, 2014 --(PR.com)-- CWNP, LLC (Certified Wireless Network Professional), has announced Scott Stapleton as the newest Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE®), obtaining the most advanced skills available in the current enterprise Wi-Fi market. Stapleton is the 132nd person worldwide to hold this prestigious title, which has been recognized as one of the 10 most difficult designations to earn throughout the entire IT industry. CWNE certification confirms that wireless professionals have mastered skills to design, install, configure, administer and troubleshoot wireless network systems. Additionally, CWNE professionals are adept at advanced design, protocol analysis, intrusion detection and prevention, performance and quality of service (QoS) analysis, and spectrum analysis and management.

A native of Australia who resides in Sydney, Stapleton’s passion for wireless first began in 2001 as a hobby. He now has more than 13 years of commercial information and communications technology (ICT) experience and seven years of experience in network engineering roles. In January 2013, Stapleton became the senior wireless engineer at Dimension Data in Sydney, where he has produced a wireless blueprint covering data, guest, location and Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) recommendations and best practices, to be used by all New South Wales public hospitals when deploying new wireless infrastructure. Prior to this position, he was a senior wireless engineer at Amcom, where his work focused on wireless LAN design, implementation, testing and troubleshooting.
